Fluttera

Fluttera is an unpublished young adult fantasy novel. It follows Lorelei Greyson, a high school senior, through her journey to discover her past. Along with her handsome neighbor, Maks Hudson, she discovers that her future lies not in her hometown of Dylan, but in a new world, a secret realm of the faeries, Fluttera.

"Lorelei Greyson was special; her adoptive mother always told her so. It was hard for Lorelei to feel special in the small town of Dylan, Wyoming. Everyone knew their neighbor and there were little surprises.


It wasn't until she met her new neighbor, Maks Hudson, that she was able to envision a world of possibilities. When both Lorelei and Maks are given identical family heirlooms, they question those possibilities and decide to put their relationship on hold to search their pasts for answers.


The answers they find lead them to a revelation that is far more complicated than the future Lorelei could ever imagine."

Jessica Barnhart lives in Knoxville, Tennessee. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Roger and they have three children together. Jessica is a certified pharmacy technician, but that is not where her passion lies. Her love of writing and fantasy novels is what inspired her to start writing her first novel, Fluttera. Although unpublished, Fluttera will become the first in a three book series.
