Fog-minds: A POEM
Fog-minds: A POEM
Oh yeah! Sea of multifarious creatures
Neophytes of equal race
When shall maturity kiss your lips?
And kill your puerile trace
Your mouths pegged to the quagmire
Your thoughts burning as if on fire
In rancor you thrive
With no love
A mind smelling like a corpse flower
Oh yeah! Sanctimonious loafer
Mouthing lies like a lost stranger
Chewers of the gum of discord
With hate as maid
But, so are we made?
Through the Britton hills of Florida
To the pyramids of Giza, Egypt
The Omo river region of Ethiopia
Down to the marine and wildlife treasures of Kiritimati, Kiribati
Life is one!
In the destination of your heart, I park
To unleash this zephyr of caution
And unbutton my heart for your sake
Pound the heart you race-monger
Tell me you live much longer
Same is our body
Same is our mind
Take the fire and chew it
Tell me it burn you not!
Spare us your pang
For your heart is made of dung
Ears awake for the thought of evil
Villainous sacrosanct with pimple
Bums stuck to the holy chair
Stalking to celebrate our tear
Here and there
One so dear
Same face we wear
Let not colour be our fear
