For BBG. A Sweet and Tender Girl.

Updated on July 6, 2014

My sweet and tender girl, How it hurts to see you ill.

I want to lift you up, and wrap you in a shawl.

I'd nurse you till you're well

My sweet and tender girl.

Your skin is soft, yet pale. No healthy glow, today.

My sweet and tender girl, How l long to see you well.

You are a woman now, no wrapping in a shawl.

But Grandmas feel the same.....just as when you were small.

Small enough for me to wrap up in a shawl.

My sweet and tender girl, How l'd love to nurse you well.

You, who are so kind. So loving to us all.

The beautiful, young mother, and dear devoted wife.

My sweet and tender girl, How l've loved you all your life.

Infectious smile, and joyful nature,

Have been with you since your birth.

Adorable, Lovable, Filled with zest for life.

You're like a precious angel who's fallen to the earth.

My sweet and tender girl.

Get well. Come back to life.!
