For The Spirit of Creation. To MarleneB

The translucent Light of the elegant buildings,

Glimmers on the peaceful waters of the river Neckar.

Its ripples are vibrant, yet serene, tranquil, soothing …

I listen … I can hear the inner symphonies,

Feel the stillness and profundity,

Of this current of cosmic energy.

High above the river,

The overhanging vines and foliage’s of Neuer Weg,

Have begun to turn a magnificent magenta hue.

It is 8 p. m on October 9^th, 2016,

And the first day of winter has begun.

Not far from the autumnal leaves,

A majestic, regal and stately Temple stands,

Offering its serenity and beauty to many.

Not so long ago, I was sitting inside its marbled sanctum,

Absorbed in the joyfulness of Silence.

An effulgent flame stabbed at the cobwebs of my mind,

Erasing its confusion; instilling an unspoken Love.

Now within the compounds of this sanctified courtyard,

I am enthralled by the cadence of the Neckar,

As an inner Delight kisses and enchants my Soul.

I’m reminded of the Euphrates,

Jordan, Yamuna and Mother Ganga,

A new awakening of this flowing elixir,

Quickens the Spirit, and gladdens my core.

Amidst all this, my life-boat plies, like the river,

To the valley of the great unknown.

The sweet resonance of ripples;

The faraway drones of Love’s vicissitudes,

Swing me softly up and down, Like a Libran Pendulum.

Playing an eternal game, for the Spirit of Creation.
