For You ~ A 100-word essay

For You

The music moves me.

I go back to those days.

You are suspended where I left you.

Defying age.

The troubles in your life never happened.

You are who you once were.

The innocence remains.

The lyrics call your name and pull at my heartstrings.

A tear escapes.

A sigh.

I am remembering smiles you gave.

The laughter.

The tears.

Butterflies in my stomach.

Weak knees.

The rush of blood to my face.

You always made me blush.

Memories of you for just a few moments.

Images I can't erase.

Pictures frozen in my mind as I hear.

Our song.

Thank you! I seriously think they should make bags of just curled chips. If they exist I haven't found them yet.

Gypsy, music has a way of triggering certain past events that I try to forget. Some memories are bittersweet.

Maximizer, I think it's a great idea, too, but some of my 100-word hubs are getting pulled for being substandard. I'm sure it's because there's not enough words. So now, I'm writing 100-words about the 100-words telling how the essay came to be. That seems to be helping!

Thanks for the comment and vote!
