Friday The 13th Poem

Friday the 13th has arrived

A time for children to hide and close there eyes

A time to run inside before evil is afoot

Children become astute

They hide inside knowing the outside isn't safe

If they open the door there may be a wraith

Or another monster of destruction

Or more then one at there street or junction

Once heavy breathing ensues

It's time for everyone to pay there dues

Stay close to others its your only hope

Evil like this you can not cope

Time for monsters to appear

Ensuring there attack to be severe

What could make a day like this even more evil

A full moon above the steeple

Everything wrong is coming together

Jason or the man with the face of leather

Michael Freddy and werewolves coming from every side

Is there anywhere to run and hide

Must you abide and accept your fate

Monster all around full of hate

They are in need of your pain

They all desire to watch you strain

To stay alive is the goal

You must attempt to succeed at this role

If you don't this night could be your last

If you hear a boom box it has "Thriller on Blast"

Unimaginable danger is all around

Your best shot is to not make a sound

Stay quiet if you hope to survive till light

It's the only chance you have to make through a Friday the 13th night
