Magical Moments To Treasure.

Good morning one and all ;I hope you are well. The weather here is awful with never ending rain and winds; however I always remind myself that I have much to be grateful for.

Many others in various parts of the UK some not too far from us have lost so much through raging storms and flooding and can expect so much more bad weather over this weekend.

As I write this I also know that so many of you worldwide have also lost so much through freak weathers and my heart goes out to one and all and you are in my prayers daily.

I hope you enjoy today's poetry and my song choice 'Believe' by two of the most talented singers the world has known.

Friendships

Life's daisy chain

Treat with a tenderness

Caress with love do not suffocate

A true friendship will always stay intact

Will thrive as we nurture with love

Morning dewdrops caress

Early morning skies a mixture of hues;

sounds a potion

of Mother Nature's blessings.

The mist only momentarily

hiding a magical scene

of wonders.

Pictures so vivid turning

that key to pleasures almost surreal.

How can we not be happy ??

How can we not enjoy?

Our lives so rich so cherished

like that forbidden toy.

Our horizons

brighter than ever,

the sunshine

warming each crevice.

Life a delicious story of winding roads

and green cushioned lanes.

Travel with that wondrous

excitement of the unknown !!!

A crescendo of swellings

to heights so wondrous

and

so rare !!!

With that great

and

wonderful awareness

I allow myself

to be conveyed

on a delicious wave of

long awaited anticipation.

The journey of the moon

Still in darkness the skies.

Tentatively touching

With that delicate surprise.

The cries of the dawn

In that innocent sleep

The swirled sweet whisper

Our secret to safely keep.

Each leaf flows in shadows

Turning over on its head.

Each flowered head bowed

Those precious words said.

A bird doth peep out

From its warm cosy sleep.

Ruffles his feathers

Nothing more than a peep.

That alley tom-cat

Howls his intentions

But still the skies sleep

Giving not even a mention.

But I hear the music

Which sings from my heart.

The sunshine in my souls

Beckons a new day's start.

Laughter breaks through the cruelty of war

devotion and feel the power to rise above

faith is unconditional

Nations to stand united

shoulder by shoulder

the winds of trepidation

cast aside

by the breezes of tomorrow promises

guided by your faith;

the heavens will stand and applaud

people will unite in songs of self worth

emotions so true

emotions of strength

and belief

will be victorious

each being standing ten foot tall

spirits of unconditional love.
