Ghosts of a Kind - poetry month contribution

Here is my contribution to April's Poetry Month. This is a castle I visited often when I lived in Germany as this was located about an hour by car from where I lived. It was built during the middle ages and sits in the Spessart woods of Germany. The original family, many generations since then, still lives here and they share it with the public every summer.

Ghosts mingle as

laughter twinkles down the hallways

of my Castle

Remembrances float by

my imagination

Bringing back memories

so treasured and sure

Once upon a time

through the eyes of Ghosts
