Give me nothing - Sweet nothing

I ask for nothing from you that I can hold in my hands. I ask for nothing that I can physically see. I do not want promises of a future that is not yours to give. You need not use me as an excuse to dive into the things that would drain you and ultimately draw you away from me. I have no tangible need that has to be filled. Fight the natural response to add pressure to your life in honor of me. It is a wolf in sheep's clothing. I am not standing here before you because of what you can give me. I have more than I need. Do not look at where you are in life with fear of what a merge would force you to change or give up. I have not asked for a merge. Do not look at your life and see it as too little for me or unworthy of me. I get to decide the measure of your worth and it is only my interpretation that matters in my decisions. My caresses are not bought by your possessions or your future goals. They are not limited by your insecurities or by how you define yourself. My caresses are won by your spirit, not by your words but by your essence.

I ask you for nothing, sweet nothing. I take from you all the unseen. I pour into you the unseen in me. I will take the pure, the true, and all which can not be touched by human hands. I will reveal much of my true self (tho not all) and play in the passion of your heart, the creativity of your mind, and the strength and stamina of your body. I will bathe myself in our combined dew. I will engulf and suffocate all the negative and all that plagues you, even if just while I am in your presence. I will surround you with my light and embrace your light. I will feed into your spirit. I may not be your eternal love story, tho your emotion may tell you differently. I can not see that far ahead. I may only be the guide, the teacher, the near-perfect example of what you should have and what you should look for in your future. The proof that peace, happiness, and love exist without expectation, without condition. I follow the flow into your life. I have the potential to fade. Enjoy the babbling brook with me. Enjoy the beautiful oasis created. Swim with me in my waters. Lock into me as we create our dance of balance. Swim our circle of balance and trust. Bathe in the colors reflected within. All of nature is mirrored here. Take in the sights, the sounds, and the scents. Get lost here with me, for the current flows and the time will come where I will be carried away from you by it. Do not build your walls. Do not tire yourself in construction of a dam aimed at stopping inevitable, stopping the current and its natural flow. It causes me to fade. It will cause us to fade. The waters would be still for us. Our movement and sound would fade. The nature outside of our pool, once fed by our waters, would wilt. Trust in the flow. Dance with me, swim our circle of balance and trust. Be carried with me until our rivers part. Then flow, content and satisfied with the time that we were given with no regret for what we gave.
