Glorious Sunshine
Updated on September 15, 2013
In all the days, in all the world
There's never a day so grand
As to wake to a sunrise full unfurled
Listening to birds as they land
Upon tree limbs so high above
To hear their lovely sounds
To be the one to greet them
As the sun is showing round
And as the mountains release the sun
It is plain to see
The light and wonder all around
As it was meant to be
The colors show their brightest
The clouds can't hide its rays
And although below in cities
Sometimes cannot break through the haze
But from the tallest points
Of buildings built so high
There is no choice for sunlight
Not to hit the wandering eye
And even through the gloomy haze
Perchance a ray shines through
It does feel amazing
To feel those rays on you
When the sun is blocked by anger
Open your eyes and wait
The sun will bring you together
Back to your natural state
