A Good Girl

I suppose you’ve always been there
I took no note
eyes down cast
nary a sideways glance
smiles monitored
hands, hips, sway, retained
curves restrained
impulses damper-ed down
senses bridled
desires strangled
a good
a very good girl
I see you now
from under a fringe
of curling eye lashes
glinting smiles
sparkling eyes
broad shoulders
hungry looks
gazes up and down
advances, despite the rock
and worst
the pull
the energetic pull
