HOMEWARD BOUND...

In a few short days, we will head North once more.

I will pack up my "Mac" and be Unplugged for awhile.

My Thoughts will be on HOLD in the Creative part

Of my Mind...Anxious to be set Free once again.

But the Memories will Linger Long after we've gone.

And when I am safely Home once again,

My 'Mac" Plugged back in,

And writing Hubs once more...

And of course, checking my SCORE,

And reading your Hubs, and commenting.

I will think of the pictures painted in my mind...

Of The People we've met, The Laughs we've had,

The Conversations by the Pool...The Heated Pool...

On the Breezy InterCostal Waterway.

I feel like the Home Coming Queen...

I'll Miss all the Wonders of Florida Land,

The Beautiful "Sea Blue" Ocean,

With Lover Man and I running along the Edge.

The Coarse Sand beneath our feet...

And the Secret Passage to the Beach.

I will Miss the quiet walks at Night,

And looking up at the Pale Moon...

And making Love... In A King Size Bed.

Nicely done. To live on the water is magnificent and when I'm away from it, it calls for my return. Be careful on your way to wherever and God bless you on your trip.

The summertime brings so many moments of fun, love, and magic. The memories...we pack up in our hearts along with our belongings before we head home. I look forward to full return to the hub!

I'm w/arb on this one! Nothing like it--but give me different sand; the sand I grew up on is anything but coarse. But, yeah, secret paths, love on the beach and all the rest--memories is the right word--and I 'specially like your last two pics! I'm homesick!

The beach is indeed, a king size bed! Sandpaper's a little unforgiving on the bottom, but the moon. oh! the moon.

hmm, well I hope you don't miss hubpages to much, summer is the best time of year, and sometimes very short, so hubpages will still be here when you come back! lol

I sooo love this poem. I love your pictures and your secret path. How glorious!! One would think that enough, but then your "coming home" sounds so exquisite. A lucky man your "Lover Man," indeed...
