Haiku to the Mustang(Inspired by Haiku Style)
Such a Travesty, the slaughtering of the wild Mustangs in Oklahoma!
The Mustang, once proud,
As it ran over the plains.
Free spirit, roamed wide,
Happiness, one of its gains.
Now facing death's call,
Done by the hand and a vote.
A fine car was named,
After its spirit, fine coat.
This stallion, wronged,
By callousness, no regard.
A death sentence, framed,
By heartless ones, their discard.
Who will be the next,
to feel the axe's sharp blade?
Perhaps some of us,
Soon to follow, our parade.
