"Have you Ever Danced With The Devil"
"Have you ever danced with the Devil under the pale Moonlight".
The story of "Willie Lynch"
You would sell your soul to the Devil
He intoned for a fistful of dollars
And the stale whiskey on your breath
Know you not right from wrong
Yet of Religion you doth profess
As you danced with the Devil under the pale moonlit Night
It has so it's been told all for want of a pot of gold
And the key to stop time or more accurately reverse its flow
Ebb and flow the winds of change
The tides they turn
"Have you ever Danced with the Devil under the pale Moonlight"
Written 4/2017 my interpretation of the fictional Willie Lynch. Willie Lynch being a euphemism for slave owners, masters, overseers of the slave plantation.
