She cries because she wants to be happy.

Updated on July 3, 2013

Feelings are not a theory,

They flow within your blood,

A welcome smile is cheery,

When one's soul is understood.

Crying to be loved,

Is more than she can bear,

But all she gets is shoved,

Whenever you come near.

She's crying because she wants to be happy,

Heartfelt sobs wrestle her tears,

But her frustration just makes her angry,

Because her isolation amplifies her fears,

When it's all over do we just disappear,

In a world of uncertainties where do we go,

Voices become echoes that nobody wants to hear,

For some it seems obvious, and other's just don't know.

All she wants is to make a special friend,

With someone on whom she relies,

But there's nobody about with whom to depend,

No matter where she looks or hard she tries.

I see it in your eye,

Yet you try and deceive me,

Your lips slowly move but I hear the lie,

I'm just a prisoner of your mind, set me free.
