He Misses Ex-Mrs. (limerick)

Updated on November 15, 2012

Real happy well this man was not

He misses his ex-wife a lot

Each boyfriend she must

Into his face thrust

She’s lucky he’s just a bad shot

One person usually gets burned not clobbered. Luckily, he was a bad shot. Sadly, feelings still remain unresolved. Interesting.

She really must desist with the thrust,

afore he aims well - and sends her to hell!

Mhatter, thank you for the wicked chuckle, I needed that before heading off to dream land. I've Just finished a good, but tiring night shift. But, I will be over to read your poem later, I had a quick look earlier but in my current state I will not be able to do it justice.

Fun to read, but sad to realize that some people do tend to flaunt their new relationships in front of the old ones.

Yes, true that sometimes relationships are forms of power play. Especially in the ones gone sour! Thanks for sharing.
