Hillary, Gary, Doc, and Humpty Trumpy

Updated on November 9, 2016

Humpty Trumpy

Humpty Trumpy

can't build his Wall.

Humpty Trumpy

had a great fall.

All the Rep.'s forces,

and all Trumpy's men,

couldn't fight media sources

and save him again.*

_____

*But voters determined to have changes in Washington, DC did.

Hillary's Rickety Schlock

Hillary's, rickety, schlock,

the other woman's a doc.

Green Party so green

she hardly was seen,

nor Hilary 'cept for her schlock.

Her Sanders disbanders,

like poppies at Flanders,

left no one free from their shock.

If you were eligible to vote in the USA's presidential election today, how would you vote?

Wee Gary Johnson

Wee Gary Johnson

ran with a frown,

upstairs and downstairs

resembling a clown.

He didn't know Aleppo.

It drew a mental blank,

which caused some million chuckles,

and emptied out his bank.

Cast A Vote For Dear Old Stein

Cast a vote for dear old Stein.

Shout 'til the rafters ring.

Stand and pledge your vote once again.

She'll need them one and all you know.

Rallies have been kind of slow.

Stein for the happy hours.

Stein for the carefree days.

Stein has some words of praise.

[Who did you say her running mate was again?]

Even as we vote the dying continues.

Even if the American flag only flew at half mast each day when an active member of our military services died, our flag would wave at half mast many days of the year.

A final thought:

Americans like to make fun of lawyers, the rich, doctors, and politicians. So it is no surprise that Mrs. Clinton (former lawyer and politician), Mr. Trump (one of America's richest men), Dr. Jill Stein (a real physician), and former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson (a longtime politician and businessman) should all have had some fun directed at them, some fairly barbed.

After an election campaign that has seemed interminable, these were my parting shots.

It was an incredible November 8-9, 2016. What soon-to-be President Trump says he will do, he seems to get done. The biggest job of his life is now before him. May he repent as needed, and do the job with God's blessing.

MsDora - Thanks. Enjoy the countdown of these last two weeks. I am still awaiting the Republicans' "October Surprise" but the 25%+ increases in the so-called "Affordable" Care Act (Obamacare) comes pretty close, and all the Republicans had to do was done way back when many voted against it!

After hedging our way through all the political muck, we deserve some comic relief. Thank you.

BlossomSB - And the political wars here are nothing compared to the real wars going on elsewhere. Let's hope the next American president will be smart and determined enough to resolve as many conflicts as possible, in as short a time as possible, with as few casualties as possible.

Thanks for the smile when there seems to be so much vitriol going around, as seen from a distance.
