His Reason (poem)

Updated on August 4, 2015

And there she is his reason for the day

The dream that’s always dancing though his head

This tear of Joy the heavens sweetly shed

And as she dreams does he still guide her sway

-

And from her dreams what memories were spread

To show the world the way which lovers play

Where chances of a kiss weren’t far away

And as she dreams does he still share her bed

-

Was there a time before she closed her eyes

And with her dream she fashioned their first kiss

So funny it’s a thing he can’t recall

-

Were there blue skies which didn’t have her sighs

Or worries which her smile could not dismiss

And as she dreams does he exist at all

Lovely and dreamy poetry but yes, so many questions often remain unanswered.

Such interesting questions asked in the poem; I'd like to know the answers.

Wonderful dreams there, Mh! They sure look so comfy together in that photo, snuggling is awesome.

Lovely! Who knows what happens in someone else's dreams? We can go to another world entirely which is great, but how good it is to dream of the lovely things we have in this world. It's good to know if we feature (in a good way!) in other's dreams. It all depends if others give their dreams away!
