Hobby--A haiku

Updated on May 2, 2012

Age is increasing,

Body movements slow me down.

World’s competitive!

Sooner or later,

Got to retire from duties.

What will I perform?

Have Spare time on hand.

Let me reminisce my likes;

Consider my zeal.

Develop hobby,

For my time to slip away;

Crucial diversion.

      Great Haiku Ruchira! Our body might be slowing down as we aged but our mind is still not at rest and we are learning a lot especially now that we are in HP. Well, it does for me. It´s a kind of brainstorming, learning technical uses for increasing traffic for my writing.

      Hobbies are good to keep us active and it brightens our existence. Voted up and shared.

      Ruchira, How can you write these haiku.Why retirement and things like this. One should be alive till the last breath is there. Enjoy the world till you can do it. You are my hobby and your comment is my elixir. Now for the literary part. Somebody asked me to have a dekko at their poem. And now I ask the same person to teach me the tricks of the trade. Teacher please do it. BTW I am still Manoj for you.

      I agree Martie. Youth there is energy and body is disease free but, gotta start making investments for our old age and that includes an investment of our mind as well.

      Good to hear that you lost pounds. I still have my December pie's fat hanging around me and gotta take out at least 5 pounds. oh well!
