Chapter 1

Bill was a very normal child growing when he was 7 years old.He was going to school and he was in his second year of primary school. He was a really popular child because of his athletic ability and was very strong for his age.So if there was any trouble in school then his friends would always go and tell Bill to sort their mess.Bill would always help kids that were being bullied and he stuck his neck out to help his friends in school.Bill at his home was a very good boy and he always respected his mother and father.Bill also had this Aunty called Rebecca who was a really close family friend. She really got on well with Bill’s mother and they were best of friends.Bill and Rebecca had this really special bond.Rebecca had a son who was 5 years old whose name was Ted.Ted was always very jealous of Bill because of his close relationship with his mother Rebecca. He was also always very jealous of Bill’s popularity in school.Ted was always getting picked on in school because he was thin and was not very social and even though Ted was not nice to Bill he would always help and protect Ted from the school bullies.Bill would go to Rebecca’s house after school every weekday and ask Rebecca for his favourite chocolate muffins and she would always give Bill at least one muffin.Rebecca would sometimes ask Bill for a favour by sending him to the local corner shop to get her some items like milk and bread.Bill was always ready to help and never said no to his Aunt Rebecca.Bill’s father was mostly out of house due to heavy work hours. So his Bill and his mother sometimes went down to Rebecca’s house for a chat and tea.

Once at Rebecca’s house there was this old fan and it was very loosely fitted on to the wall and once Bill was sat down and helping Ted with his homework and the fan was gonna fall on Ted because he was sitting directly under the fan and when Rebecca saw the fan was gonna fall onto Ted she shouted “Ted look out”.This alerted Bill who also saw that the fan was gonna fall down on Ted and without any hesitation he pushed Ted out of the way and got in the way and suffered a few minor injuries on his arm and forehead.Rebecca seeing this quickly got up and drove Bill to the hospital and got him bandaged up.Rebecca told his mother that he saved Ted’s life and he should be given a treat. The idea Rebecca had was to treat Bill by taking him to Alton towers with Ted.Bill’s mother said yes and gave her the permission to take Bill.Check out what happens when they go to Alton Towers in chapter 2 of this book.
