Sisters In Blue

SISTERS IN BLUE, these words were written to honor the likes of you…

To Honor those who have departed, those who remain and those whose courage and commitment to get the job done is second to none.

Sisters in Blue, many of you have walked in and through the gates of hell without a sweat in your steps…

Many of you have grown and only God knows how you have survived this sometimes bumpy ride…

Your walk through those corridors of despair without mental fear is a testimony of your strength, a testimony of your character and a warrior’s mentality.

When Crisis arise, you Rise to the occasion: Trained and ready, forceful and steady if you need to be…

High alert is the norm in your workplace, yet you handle it with every shift, every assignment.

Today you will light a candle for the Pioneers and the Sisters in Blue who are no longer here in the flesh.

The Sisters who showed many of you the ropes and how to do this job with dignity intact, with pride and beauty still intact, and how to make this job not so hard.

Continue to show unity and respect for each other …

Continue to show support for each other...

Continue to encourage one another and lift each other up when the pressure seems to be too much.

Sisters in Blue, Sisters in Blue, today it's all about you and those who came before you...

These words are just a reminder..
