How Much Could?

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck?

I'd really like to know!

I asked my kid and he checked an app

Then told me where to go!

Six sweet swans swam swimmingly

Straight up to my front door,

Peter Piper got shut out by my kids

They just couldn't take no more!

I asked if she sold seashells

Which seashells did she sell?

My kids just said, "Whatever, Dad!"

What can I say? Oh well!

A canny canner can can cans cannily

But not on his smart phone,

The flea and the fly flew through the flaw

My kids want to be left alone.

I thought a dad's job was to be annoying

And say dumb things that are not so dumb.

But my kids just think it's all too cloying

And now their brains are numb.

Bum-bum.
