What When Where Why And How
I'll talk about anything
People can relate to
And if I do not sing
Then that is what I'll do
Mix words that sound alike
With letters from the alphabet
Spin on wheels of a bike
To make good sense yet
Take a lady to dinner
Or walk along the lake
The date should be a spinner
Or fun is at stake
May take her to a movie
And Interact later
To know her is groovy
I'll be her crusader
How much will I spend?
It really doesn’t matter.
A date does depend
On the fun that you splatter
Use imagination
Seen a beautiful day
Write what made it beautiful
Express it in your way
This is writing poetry
Making good sense
Not writing about idolatry
Is a lesser expense
Poetry is simple
The freedom to express
Revealing a double dimple
Of rhyming to impress
Poetry should flow
From one line to another
Rapping love to show
To sister and brother
But let it be real
Tell it like it is
Tell it how you feel
From your ideas
Time to rip it up
Your rhythm and rhyme
Let nothing interrupt
Like spice in thyme.

How Poetry Is Created
Poetry is found in the beauty of people, in the beautiful nature, the sun, the moon, the stars, the skies and in the spiritual foundation. Poetry may rhyme in each or every other line or it may not. It is rhythmic in time, that is what makes it so fine. Poetry is usually describing beauty of the beholder. Have you ever heard? You can be "poetry in motion."
