How Writing Made Me Write Better

A Writer's World

Writing is such a Great Experience.

  • My life, my experiences, and my thoughts improved what I do and enjoy best, writing and sharing new experiences.

I don’t let anything get in my way of lifestyle.

In my writing, my experiences and in my way thinking power.

Life is about experiences and if you fail in certain aspects don't let that get you down.

You got to get up and move on as fast as you can don't wait as time is of the essence.

Time is never right!

Everything happens at any time.

The more you think of the right time, you are just allowing yourself to hold on to something that may never happen.

There is no assurance of what will happen next don't wait for the better days, do it now.

My life changed in several ways. Living in a foreign country encouraged me to write. I continue to share my work online.

I started writing in 1997 none of my work was published until 2008.

When I had full access to Internet and a computer I knew what I wanted to do with my spare time.

I wrote for several websites some were scams and I never got paid for my work. While other sites did pay me.

I had researched many fields of writing and would like to continue with what I know best.

I enjoy writing about Relationships and of various other topics. I want to improve my knowledge on many topics.

Writing allows me to learn more.

Writing is not for everyone. You got to enjoy what you do.

Some will find writing boring, this happens if the English language is not their first language.

Once you put your heart into something you can get going and succeed.

Writing can make you better if you get right into the world of your own.

Don't think writing happens overnight if you think it all happens overnight you are wrong, think again!

Practice and practice my friends and see how you improve those skills.

I am talking to you from my experience and anyone who has the experience in writing will know practice makes perfection.

The art of communication in writing is key to good writing skills, speak to your readers.

  • How can you be the better writer?

You have to believe in yourself as a writer think of yourself like you are already a writer and begin from that point.

You become a writer when you think of yourself as a writer.

A writer who displays their work can go on for years writing and publishing their work.

It doesn't necessarily mean they are the of best writers when articles are displayed on many websites.

Writing is a simple way of thinking though not as easy as you think when it comes to putting down pen to paper.

The audience comes later you first got to be the better writer.

With practice writing becomes effortless.

Write for real and get your work out there .

Don't wait and stock up your manuscripts, or writing material it is not worthy to you.

You need discipline to keep on writing.

Don't make excuses write and share your work. Excuses keep you from doing what you want to do.

Think about what you want to really do before getting started to write anything.

Ask yourself the following questions:

Why do you want to write?

For whom are you writing?

Do you have a message in your writing?

Did you find your voice in your writing?

Is there anything that you are willing to sacrifice for your writing?

Is there something that you won't give up in your writing?

I have thousands of articles on line and have learned the following from my writing experiences.

I write daily(not every writer would think it is a great idea to write daily).

My writing must be effective.

I should not sound stupid and should avoid being the lazy writer.

I need to stay focused on my writing being distracted is out of the question.

I don't have to worry about being a good writer instead I should continue writing and sharing my work.

Do you agree on this point?

I should not think of fame and I should write what is worth reading and what is worth writing of.

I had to get over my perfectionist tendencies.

I must write with conviction.

My goal is to get noticed by my faithful readers and to receive the overwhelming comments and criticism.

Gain my platform and read and write.

Write to be intentional.

My focus is narrowed but I need to have a broader audience.

The very important part of writing is to learn from copywriters, and write for scanners.

The rule is to engage with your readers.

You got to grow your traffic from your blog.

Guest posting is helpful to writers.

I learned to write great content and should not stop there. Building of relationships is a crucial part of writing something informative.

I should not forget about in my line of work.

The people you interact with are just what you need to go further in the writing field in working together.

Off-course you will get haters,.

I experienced cyber-bullying because another so-called writer hated how I received great feedback.

She gave me hell with her name calling. However, the hater did not last long on that writing site, she was banned for verbal abuse.

  • Ever thought of meeting a writer?

You can receive tips from another writer and grow in your field of writing.

Read everything that interests you, on odd times read about something that barely interests you.

In the process you will definitely find a unique idea to write about.

  • Writing is about unique ideas so why not try something different?

Have a plan when writing. There must be a technique that can help you write about the informative piece or whatever works best for you.

Try use an outline, or put together your notes on cards to make the writing moment feel easier and comfortable to work by.

Write fast on your keyboard and you won't have to spend all the time at the computer read and edit and avoid spelling errors or bad grammar.

Keep your focus on writing, what you are writing about and how your reader will take in this information.

I am not a professional but just trying to inform you about what got me this far in writing.

I don't only earn from one on line site and it took me awhile to get to this point in my life.

When I started writing I did not make earning my priority.

I had to first focus on gaining my platform, my broader audience, and had to write daily.

I increased my practice to improve on my skills and kept going from then on..

Living in the most southern part of Europe has made me look at my life from whole new perspective.

All the changes allowed me to focus on my writing. In passing my days and to have something to look forward to every day.

I am positive and learning a new language in a new culture has allowed for a confident way of life.

I am enjoying my new life. There has been many ups and downs but I go forward each day with a courageous mind.

Your article shows your energy, enthusiasm and excitement. It gives the reader some confidence to try for more. Useful and valuable tips. My problem is that I don't like the idea of writing with keyboard. My thought process works well only with pen and paper. Then I type and publish. What you say about this method? I request you to give one more spell check to this article as I found one error. (The word is 'while' but typed wrongly). You are an excellent writer and almost accurate too. I really loved reading this beautiful hub and wish to request you to publish more hubs like this in future too, which will be very useful to writers like me. Voted up.

Wonderful DDE ;a great read and I can remember when I first began to write on here I used to write down on paper to begin with and then copy onto my computer. Somehow this soon gelled into writing it straight onto computer to begin with. I think that many writers are successful later on in life because life's lessons matures our minds which shows up in our writing. Thank you again DDE and I wish you a great weekend.

DDE - thank you so much for sharing the ins and outs of writing that we experience on an almost daily basis. Being a writer takes lots of determination, motivation and, of course, skill. Some may possess the skills going in and some may need to hone their skills with training and experience. I love how you shared your own goals and expectations of your writing and know that we hubbers can all agree - we have our own list of commandments we try to abide by.

Again, thanks so much for sharing your personal experience and creative outlook towards putting pen to paper! Best of luck in everything you do! voted up

Here again I am to learn from you on my passion of writing. You have so much to say about writing that we can really take immense benefit out of the stuff you spread in your hubs. Devika, English is my second language , my mother tongue being Garhwali, one of the dialects of a great family of Hindi language. Still I am so fond of English that I get a serenity of mind when I express myself in it. Love your useful tips about writing and hope for further guidance from you. Thank you very much.

There are some great ideas in this hub, Devika. My favorite of all is the thought that there is never a "right time" for writing. As you say, we don't know what the future will bring. If we don't write now we may never do so.

Once again you have produced a hub that will benefit most of the people here in this community and a wider audience that will read your work. I have said before, that your articles are always thought provoking and this one is certainly that. The advise you share from your personal experiences ,should be heeded by anyone who has ambitions to write. you are so correct in saying that one of the first requirements is a love and dedication of the subject you are writing about for this will shine through in the end product. Thank you . Voted up.

I agree that practice is a very important element to becoming a writer. You also have to think of yourself as a writer, as you mention. Of course, you must have a knack for writing. I'm glad you've made a success of online writing! It isn't for everyone. I think you must have an introverted side that doesn't need to be in constant company of others. But it is an interesting profession and online writing is something peculiar to our era. Thank you for sharing your experience!
