How quickly do you lose views with your writing?

Updated on September 19, 2011

Just take a short time off writing

Simple isn't it?!

It is that quick and devastatingly easy to lose views and there fore any or a lot of income. You write like crazy thinking that you can write and gain residual income. I mean isn't that what all us on line writers, that want to earn money try to learn and read up about? How to earn money on line? Or How to earn money by writing?

We work from the moment we get up until the moment we go to bed. Which out of desperation for more time is usually much later than we anticipated, planned or wanted to stay up until. But we do it non the less. We have the fire in our hearts to go out and break free from the rat race.

Well if that is all you are chasing, I tell you to save your electric bill and switch off your computer now. You are working for a few pound, if not a few pence.

To get the most out of your writing you will have to do more work in promoting your writing than actually spending time doing what you wanted and writing for enjoyment. Before you know it, you are stuck in the rat race that you were hoping to escape from by being your own boss and working from home.

If you do want to work at earning a small income, then you can go to social sharing sites and link your articles and other writings to them. What happens is that you join a social sharing site or bookmarking site, and this can be seen by others on line. They may find your link interesting and take a look.

Some easy ones to start with for this are , Digg, Stumbleupon, Twitter, Facebook ( can land you in hot water there after too much though). Tumblr, Flixya.

There is a wider list than the one I have provided you, but for someone just starting out, you will find the list I have provided ample. Why will you? Because, not only can you just join these sites and start throwing links in to your account, you have to socialize. You need to follow people and get them to follow you back. It is all a big game of "you scratch my back and I will scratch yours".

My advice to you is this. Either be smart enough and strict enough to sit down and study SEO and back linking to the end. Or be happy with a small amount of pocket money and enjoy your self.

If you are new to writing on line and you are trying to earn some money then you need to realize that you have to have dedication. Apply yourself to writing every day, consistently. Whether that be here or any other residual income plateau you choose to use. Also you need to age. Your writing will perform better after around six months of age, and by then you will also have a catalogue of on line entries feeding between each other. This will keep your views coming in.
