How the Love Birds Met
A Gust of Wind blew
Through the Rain Forest
Shedding some Dry Leaves
From a Twig
Where a Lonely Bird
Was Quietly Perched.
He turned his head gently
And Glanced at an adjacent branch
Where two Love Birds
Were Feeding
From each other’s Beak.
His heart Brimmed with Uncanny Contentment
At the lovely sight
Made way for two drops of silent tears
From the corner of the eyes
In Ethereal Bliss!
Just then something caught his attention……
At a little distance
A female Bird
Was Running For her life
To Save herself
From the deadly clutches
Of a Large Fearsome Eagle.
As she came close
To this tree
He suddenly rose from Nowhere
In New Found Strength
And faced the Ruthless Eagle
Like a combative Warrior
With Spread Wings
And Fire in the Eyes
As if to say….
‘Do not take one step Further!’
The Eagle was shocked in Disbelief
At the awesome challenge posed
By a rather dainty Bird
And took a few steps back
Only to find a sea of other Birds
Coming for him
Making him flee as fast as he can.
As our Bird
Gained his composure back
And turned his attention
Towards his new found Friend
The skies opened up
To the ethereal flow
Of Countless Mellifluous tunes
Thawed to Unspoken Verves
In spoken Harmony
From the treasure trove
Of Heavenly Love
Transcending to
Lands of Unending Bliss!
Thus met the two Love Birds
To Sing Ditties Together
Of Love, Of Joy
Of Happiness, Of Bonding
Flying through skies of true Freedom!
