Superman is probably one of the most famous superhero today. Every boy would want to be like him someday. Although it's impossible Superman still instilled good inspiration to kids all around the globe to be good an heap those that are in need. His super strength and speed are matched by only a few. Added with the ability to fly, emit a laser beam from his eyes, and X-ray vision, there is no doubt that Superman is also one of the strongest super heroes. Among the few who can match his greatness is the hulk. He is literally a monster not only physically but in terms of strength as well. Nothing on this world can stop Hulk. Nevertheless, can a Kryptonian do it? Will Superman's strength be enough to tame the green monster?

The Hulk

Team/Affiliations: The Avengers

Real Name: Robert Bruce Banner

Place of Birth: Dayton Ohio

Citizenship: American

Sex: Male

Height: 5 ‘9 ½” (normal form) 7-8’ (Hulk form)

Weight: 128 lbs (normal form) 1,000- 1,400 lbs (Hulk form)

Special Powers:

Unlimited Strength, Superhuman Endurance, Extreme resistance to almost any form of attack, breaths underwater

Brief History:

Robert Bruce Banner is a genius of Nuclear Physics. His life outside his job was typical until he was exposed by a blast of radiation while creating a gamma bomb. At first, he turned into a gray-skinned creature with extreme bodily features when the sun sets and turns normal during dawn. He can somehow control himself at this state. However, the effect of the radiation eventually developed and he now turns into a monster with green skin. He became an enraged monster with nothing in mind but to destroy the source of his anger or anything that tries to stop him along the way. He became a target of the army and even superheroes. Although he joined the Avengers, he was still misunderstood by many and is considered as a bomb ready to blow other than an ally.

Strengths and Weaknesses:

Hulk is known for his super strength. He can literally destroy anything on his path with those huge hands and arms. His speed is also exceptional. In fact, he finds it hard to run since the weight of his body destroys the ground which provides him with less friction. He leaps from one point to another to catch his foes. He is also considered by many as indestructible. His body can resist almost any kind of attack including mind control and advanced weapons such as guns, bombs, and lasers. Despite the fearsome power of the Hulk, he tends to be vulnerable if calmed. Anything or anyone who can calm him is Hulk’s greatest enemy. Moreover, a device which can suck out all his gamma radiation will do the trick as well like what Silver Surfer did.

Superman

Real Name: Kal-El (Krypton) Clark Joseph Kent (Earth)

Place of Birth: Kryptonopolis, Planet Krypton

Citizenship: Kryptonian, American

Sex: Male

Height: 6’3”

Weight: 235 lbs

Special Powers:

Flight, Superhuman Strength, X-ray Vision, Superhuman speed, laser eyes

Brief History:

Superman is considered as the last son of Krypton. He was sent by his parents towards earth after discovering that their planet was on the verge of destruction. He eventually was found by Jonathan and Martha Kent. They were secretive about Clark’s real origin until the boy realizes that he can do some things that the average person can’t. His powers started to be evident on his teenage years. He became a news reporter at the Daily Planet while being superman at times of need. He was raised well by his foster parents, which made him one of the most respected super heroes.

Strengths and Weaknesses:

Superman is one of the strongest being on earth. He can dodge bullets, fly at extremely high altitude, see through walls, and emit a laser beam from his eyes. His agility is also exceptional. However, he weakens if a Kryptonite is near. This is a stone fragment of Krypton, his planet of origin. Aside from Kryptonite, superman tends to be careless when someone close to him is in danger, especially Lois Lane. Most villains who were successful in trapping him used either Lois Lane or his foster parents.

Superman In Action!

It was a sunny morning when Bruce went out to meet his friend at a shopping mall. He suddenly noticed a huge explosion near their supposed meeting place. Worrying that his friend might be in great danger, he rushed. The scenario was tragic. His friend was crushed by huge debris from the explosion. He was enraged. Looking for someone to blame, he saw superman fighting with Lex Luthor. He understands that his friend was just a victim of an accident yet he can’t control the anger inside. He transformed into the green monster he himself feared and wreaked havoc. Superman noticed his presence and was caught off-guard. He was thrown away by Luthor’s punch. Luthor was about the grab the opportunity when Hulk suddenly appeared in front of him from the sky, grabbed him tight, crushing his armor and threw him straight towards a nearby building. The structure collapsed in an instant. Hulk is unstoppable. Superman tried to stop him. They exchanged blows and the fight seems even. However, Superman was close to his limits. The fight went on for hours but Hulk’s strength seems to grow even more while Superman was weakening every minute. The battle was decided when Hulk was able to grab Superman’s cape and smashed him on the ground. The Hulk jumped high and literally stepped on Superman. It was like an explosion of a nuclear bomb! The hulk grabbed Superman by the neck and was convinced that he can fight no more so he left angry yet deep inside still grieving for his lost friend.

I think you like Hulk lol. No but seriously; nice effort - the narrative doesn't flow very well in some spots, but I appreciated the effort and liked your perspective on how a Superman vs Hulk battle would flow. If you're interested, check out my take on such a battle and leave a comment - thank you! http://pinstor.us/articles/hulk-vs-superman-a-figh...

The incredible hulk wants no parts of Kal-El. Heat vision from low earth orbit oughta do the trick in a few hours.

Wanna know what I really think would happen? Darkseid or some other villain makes himself known during the fight and ticks off Hulk. Together they pound him/her into the ground until Bruce takes over. Then they get coffee in the Watch Tower.

I think it was way to easy for Hulk to just beat superman. I think this battle would last for days on end!

This must be some kind of joke right? Superman in impenetrable, meaning that unless The Hulk can find himself a nice batch of Cryptonite, he cannot beat him, considering that all of the hulks attack are basic punches, kicks and throws. Like Mighty said, throw him into the sun.
