I Feel Your Pain (Suicide Awareness)

I look in your eyes I can see your pain

Depressing,

Suicidal,

Overwhelming thoughts

Have overtaken you

You try to hide it

You don't want to reveal it

You don't want to admit it

You feel ashamed;

Filled with regret,

Guilt,

Hatred of yourself

"How much longer?"

You plead

You've cried out

You've flooded your pillow with tears too many times

You feel alone

But I feel your pain

Everyday you ask yourself:

"Why don't I give up?"

You feel like there's no point;

No point to continue

No point to keep going

No point to keep trying

No point to believe that there is hope

Debating,

Thinking,

Wondering,

Wishing for the pain to end,

"When will this end?"

I feel your pain

You're to the point of feeling like there's no way out

"Should I overdose?

Should I drive off a cliff?

Should I cut my wrists?

Should I shoot myself?

Should I just hang myself?

Should I just give up?"

These thoughts constantly come through your mind

Uncertainty,

Fear,

Doubt,

These feelings overwhelm your soul

I feel your pain, my friend

I know what your feeling

I know what loneliness feels like

I know the feeling of weeping

All day; everyday

I know what it's like to not get any sleep

I know what it's like to feel like your in complete darkness

I know what hopelessness feels like

I've been in your same position

Contemplating,

Debating,

Considering to end it all,

I feel your pain

You're not alone

Don't give up

Life is worth it

There is hope

Reach out

Don't give up
