I Hope we walk the Last Mile Together

Sometimes I sit and ponder, here I am laughing

and talking with you, the secrets we share is to

good for others to hear, the love and the care.

Will always keep us near and then suddenly

I wonder if we’ll always be together

not just here on earth but in the hereafter.

I don’t ever want to part with you and so too, it

should be your desire. It will rip my heart

apart to know we started off this journey together

and then you leave me forever.

My prayer and my desire is that we all make it

in heaven together, for whosoever misses that

grand opportunity will be in torment for eternity.

So I really do hope that we walk the last mile

together. Hand in hand we can see the promise land.
