I Know You're With Me

It's early and I'm sleeping and I feel your presence in my home
I quickly open my eyes, I know I'm not alone
I listen for a sound to see who it might be
But then I feel your presence and it doesn't startle me
We are going to the hospital for another surgery
We are running late and my sister is worried about the time
I tell her it's ok there will be time to spare everything is fine
I know this because I hear you deep down in my heart
Because you are always with me we are never apart
We get there and get all ready for the surgery to start
When I'm waiting evil thoughts they begin to brew
The lies, deceit the fear is sent and I don't think I will pull through
Then in walks a Pastor and says would you like to pray
And I say yes please and thank you, and all the lies and fear they go away
You save me once again I don't know what I would do
If you were not always with me to help me see things through
The surgery is over the doctors they are amazed
They say I'm doing so wonderful for my very first day
I give you all the glory I give you all the praise
Because you gave me peace at the very start of the day
You guide the doctors hands and make sure they do things right
For you know I cannot be happy without my precious sight
When all is done and I go home you sit down by my bed
You watch me sleep and help me heal so I will be ok
So we get to wake together and spend another day
You've been with me always I have felt you in my heart
You let me know your with me and we'll never be apart
