I Love you - a poem written 2/14/2000
In his eyes I look deeply
In reflection I see everything
Beauty on a higher level
Unseen except in love
Love, and a comfort of feelings I don’t often feel
Most of all, I see myself
My future builds from the stare of minutes that slowly turn to hours
I see me
I see who I could be, and I see him
Feeling utter comfort in our only paradise
Our paradise sees when time stops and when the heart begins
In his eyes I see what I want to be
I can see everything without moving an inch
I feel everything without moving a muscle
I know all power existing in the beauty of his eyes, staring back into mine
The world stops for us
Nothing ever ends
Nothing changes
Nothing exists but us
In his perfection I see everything
Through our eyes, we see nothing but love – unexplainable, unpredictable,
It fills the hole in our souls, which we now share
These feelings unspoken, can best be explained with three simple words
I love you…..
