I Remember What Day It Is

Updated on June 24, 2013

So interesting And Intriguing

Filled with so many surprises

Not just now but years that have passed

They tickle the bottoms of my feet and keep me happy a long time after

To so many it's just the 4th week in June

I assure you it gives me the excitement of the 4th of July

I can be at home or at work

My thrill runs deep

Friends and family might remember

All I know is it is a day my wife said if I ever forget

Then it's time to do what they do to old cattle

I pipe in

Love them more than before

She reminds me

I give you all I have

It's when two people become one

Then life gets tougher and we learn real fast

What to do when we run out of time

Say I'm sorry and things happen

We admit we are only human

Look on the bright side

You have me to the end of time and then some

Our perfect life was changed just slightly

Giving us a new view

Hugging and finding a way to pass the time

Learning to accomidate a 99% chance for error

All and all it's been a ball

It's the highest number thrown on any two dice

Replaced by the word dozen

The last number before we hit the teens

Then for me it is something so much greater

Happy Anniversary Honey

For twelve Incredible years

We may of met late in life

But catching up is so much fun

We get to do things our friends did so long ago

Each day is filled with a new experience

Always searching for a joy that can't be replaced

In the meantime I learn to endure, compromise, cry and scratch my head and ask why

I will always remember the times that we both have topped the charts

In love and creative arts

So here we do what other married couples do

Here goes

Close our eyes and pucker up

Enjoying so much what somes next

Looking back and thanking each other

For trusting and willing to do more

Remembering our first kiss

Learning led us to a whole new life to explore

Accepting our faults and moving forward or back

It doesn't matter

As long as you are by my side

So I type and you are asleep

We each do our own thing

Most of all at the end of each day

I know there is one place I want to be

Having your arms wrapped tight around me

epigramman With great apppreciation I thank you for reading and sharing something so special and close to my heart. There was a time before I met my wife I thought my life was complete. She was the one.Someone held the key to my heart and could break it so easily. To my surprise it wasn't meant to be.She didn't feel the same way.My heart was twisted and torn. They say you have to experience the good and the bad. A love and a loss to know the difference. So I have been there and now I can enjoy all the love I have ever wanted.Things have a funny way of working out.Sharing a love that is simple, kind and giving is all I ever asked for.It is always a pleasure seeing your comments.Wishing you good health and a wonderful day..

GypsyRose Lee In life we learn to take nothing for granted. When things work out well I am the first to say I enjoyed that so much and I can't wait to do that again. When we have problems and struggle I know it won't last.Twelve years went by fast.Thanx for reading and sharing our special day.
