I Slip
My #20 for National Poetry Month
ground fissures,
creating jagged lines
obscured in the night's eye,
slowly, I slip,
slivered, into them,
feeling my way down
to a place underneath
where i wait
to be made whole again,
while the moon's light
stirs stars overhead.
i sleep.
