I am worth more than you
could have afforded. That’s why
you left, you thought you left me in
the rain & I’d catch your dew and fall for
you. You thought I’d never find my
way back I’d be lost forever without you.
Oh no you’re so wrong you made
yourself a clown.
I walked through it with God’s help
my only heart mender and refuge.
He sheltered me from this love storm.
My only hope when all is gone, my
best friend my love my all.
If you were worth me if you had
something to offer, you would
have stayed & not left me in the rain.
The real story of your sham was
unfolded your false love I wish I had
foresee . God knew you wasn’t
good enough for me so he let you leave.
He have something better in store
for me a precious oyster for me to
place my pearl in. You ain’t gonna Jam this
heart like no tart. This bird has been set
free, never to be caged again by false love.
You thought you hurt me or one day I’ll
come back to you or perhaps wait somewhere
in this life for you. You're oh so wrong my life
has gone on without you in it and it’s gonna
continue without you. My worth is more than
you could have offered.
