If I knew about you

Updated on August 27, 2011

Personal journals

If choice had been an option

with genetics in motion

I'd grant yes to the potion

prequelling my creation

--------------------------------------

If choice had been an option

in my predestination

I'd grant yes to the concoction

My best friend, my emotion

-------------------------------------

If choice had been an option

in continuity of a generation

I'd grant yes to the function

My daughter, without exception

---------------------------------------

If choice had been an option

in other paths crossed, no mention

I'd grant yes to the contention

That brought me revelation

-----------------------------------------

If choice had been an option

in lovers, fact and fiction

I'd grant yes to the exhilaration

That taught me satisfaction

---------------------------------------

If choice had been an option

stumbling upon your inspiration

I'd grant yes to the anticipation

in this new fulfilling drection

--------------------------------------

If choice had been an option

Life's journey, mystery destination

I'd grant yes to unknown, no question

It brought me here sans reservation

Thank you, acaetnna! You are so right on and I noticed it immediately when I first saw him perform this song. I'm surprised I don't see him more often, because he does look like his dad and, I think, is a great talent.

      Thanks for commenting!

Dear sweet Realhousewife, I thank you. I haven't been to this one in a while and I see the formatting and even the font has changed! Oh no, I'd better give it some attention today. Wonder what happened? Thank you for your beautiful commentary, my friend! Love ya.

RobertBloggert, thank you so very much for your comments. My computer is out of commission for 2 weeks so I have been unable to contribute anything new. I am at my friend's home and she is kind enough to let me use her PC so I can check my email. I am lost in space without my connection to the world. Hopefully, I will be back in the universe of the living soon. Thank you for reading and commenting. It means everything.
