If Mercy Had A Face
I can only imagine that if mercy truly had a face,
It would be the most beautiful, and full of amazing grace,
Mercy is only one of the many attributes of the Creator's heart,
Compassions that fail not, without end,
Where there is always a new start,
The face of mercy shines brightly, with majesty
Magnificently sweet, softly, and brilliantly,
Listen, can't you hear mercy whispering with audible tranquility,
Even peace stands still and judgment is silenced
It is God's mercy we need to release His loving kindness,
Gloriously shining in absoluteness, so great!
Always at work securing our destiny and fate,
Mercy brings with it kindness and is so very tender
The ointment it gives is the number one life mender,
Mercy is a characterstic which must live through us too
Be kind and let mercy have its expression in all that you do,
Mercy is pure with loving-kindness as its companion
Walking through the earth hand and hand on assignment,
Mercy follows lives which are in such great a need
It is the product of an incorruptible seed,
I can now see mercy and don't have to imagine a face
None will ever do then that of the unmerited favor,
We know as grace.
