I'm her Rock, She's my Lock

Updated on November 30, 2013

Don't tell me it's nonsence

Demons speeding down my mind's highway
She never spared a moment to see me
To see me

She sheds ten pound tears
With love for me

I'm going insane trying to burn down this corn maze

Peeling off my scales
My face
This mask
Her coal
Her trap

Tasting the wind
When it smells of her sent
I unbend the frown
That she shamelessly presents

Will she feel the love?
If i force it through my pores
Easing her pain
Kissing her open wounds

She blinks in my mind,
Starting a fire

Do we love each other?
Is this a trap or a release?

When would be a good time to walk away
From this fire that we've started?

Dragging my feet on the asphalt road
The clouds of smoke, from our fire,
Coil around me
A finger of smoke reaches up
And stabs me in the chest
Kiss me briefly
Eternally fuse me
To all of your senses

A cloud of smoke
And shed scales
Bounding us
In confusion

Different from much I've read on hubpages. It has a roughness that I really like.
