I'm Here Looking
I'm here looking
I'm here looking. I wait, I do not know what. I'm waiting for you to hear your voice. To see your figure flash a moment. Or I simply wait for life. That life that is filled with emotions. Life that if you do not fill it, you do not live it. I wait to feel my heart speed up when it sees you. But when you think about it, it accelerates even if I only think of you. I wait but I can not see you. I wait and I do not hear you. Yet the heart beats, throbs, tightens. So why remain inert waiting? Perhaps out of fear that even the slightest movement may overturn the whole cosmos and make sure that it can no longer even hope to see you. So I stay like that, standing still, almost holding my breath. Everything is still, even the air is still. Only a faint ray of sunlight, filtering from the window shifts its light towards me. He gets closer and closer, and I wait for him to reach me, I can hardly wait. As if the touch of the sun can make me feel your touch. When it slides on my skin I feel the light warmth, as if it were your caress, like the warmth of your skin. Rest so, still waiting for the light to move, get on my face, maybe to feel the illusion of your kiss.
