Washington State native Crystal Connor has been terrorizing readers since before Jr. high School and loves anything to do with monsters, bad guys, rogue scientific experiments, jewelry, sky-high high heel shoes & unreasonably priced hang bags. She is also considering changing her professional title to ‘dramatization specialist’ because it’s so much more theatrical than being just a mere drama queen.

Review

First off as I wrote at the top "I was sent a free copy of In The Foothills of Mt. Empyreal: The End is Now by Connor Titus in exchange only for my honest review of In The Foothills of Mt. Empyreal: The End is Now by Connor Titus."

This is my first time reading a book by Crystal Connor and/or Connor Titus. I did take a peak at Crystal Connor/Lori Titus /Connor Titus's other books they include:

  • In The Foothills of Mt. Empyreal: The End is Now
  • The Guardians of Man: Black Feathers Fell in the Foothills of Mt. Empyreal

I am a big fan of supernatural fiction so I was very excited to give this book a try. I have to say that it truly lived up to my excitement. The book began with the words:

And through the
darkness he will come to
shield the book..

The book starts out slow, but after a few pages poisonous snow, dead bodies, and technological apocalypse quickly get things moving. The book takes place is a small down that has been surviving the technological apocalypse quite well until the poisonous snow and dead bodies begin to show up. From there the book is off to a fast pace from here until the end.

My favorite aspect of In The Foothills of Mt. Empyreal: The End is Now by Connor Titus is the books that compel a person who reads it to follow the books instructions, protect the book, and pass the book to the closet blood relative when the book holder is close to death. I found this aspect to be very creative and similar to something you would see on Supernatural, the TV show.

Overall I enjoyed reading In The Foothills of Mt. Empyreal: The End is Now by Connor Titus and I would recommend the book to anyone who enjoys supernatural fiction books. Also if you have ever seen the show Supernatural and enjoyed it you will probably enjoy In The Foothills of Mt. Empyreal: The End is Now by Connor Titus as well.

Well, just to clarify The End is Now and The Guardians aren’t actually a co-authored. They are however part of a shared universe which is Fate’s Keep, Mt. Empyreal other than that The End is Now is totally all me, likewise The Guardian’s of Man is 100% Lori’s … two completely different stories, taking place in the same town, This tour is for The End is Now, but keep an eye out for The Guardians of Man once Lori starts promoting her book!
