In The crypt of One Soul.

Updated on April 2, 2010

In the crypt

of one soul,

hang the cobwebbed

once silky touches

of passion explored

now dessicated and dry

on the walls of yesterday.

all this lies below blank

eyes marbled with tears

and lips bent in a

rigor mortis sneer

here the bare bones

of loves remains

lie in a tumble

less eve's ribs

awaiting the dust.

Sheer darkness

hides the horror

of what's eating

away at you,

maggots at least

offer company though,

when everything

you once took

for granted is

already dead,

the granite just

hasn't been

inscribed with

the final date.

But there

is resurrection,

a painful rebuilding of

the molecues of

another first kiss,
somewhere in the

now dead space

between another's arms,

but how do two

who are oblivious

to the world of love

find each other,

and why would

one want to

even take the

chance of becoming

a zombie again

when love once more

sickens and dies?

You have a wonderful way of expressing your thoughts which contribute to great poetry. And it feels wonderful to read and realize the pattern of your thoughts.

      Keep up the noble work

I woke and checked this "master" of mine- the email, hubs, etc. I saw you dropped by. It reminded me that I have some reading to do at MFB's place. Alas- I can only read this one pearl before I return to my coffin. Thank you Sir!
