In Your Shadows

I might be hard to find sometimes

but I'll be there when you need.

Just look into your shadow

and that is where I'll be.

When you call on me,

don't look with your eyes.

Your heart will find me

in your shadows.

I've been there all this time.

You do what you have to do.

I'll hide here all the while.

Waiting to be found in your shadows;

longing to see you smile.

I'm not hiding from your love.

I'm not scared to give you my heart.

You've always had it with you.

Even when we're apart.

I agree with kitty, it's beautiful and bittersweet. It makes me wonder though, why is she hiding in his shadow? Lovely piece!

Beautiful...one wish I have for you: never again wait to be found in someone's shadows, but be a bright sun that would spread light in their shadows...voted up!

Voted up and beautiful, Kelly. It's sort of a bittersweet poem, but very captivating! Keep 'em coming.
