Vision and Poem: Blond woman in a cage!
Background.
My poems it's not about literary accomplishment, but about touching hearts and witnessing through poetry.
The next vision or Dream was my inspiration for "in a cage"
Take time and read the dream first before this poem!
Vision of a woman in a cage.
I had a vision in 3 parts at three different times but it was all the same vision.
Strange, but true. I saw a bear like creature, with a face of a wolf, flying over a landscape that looked like land after a volcano has erupted, and I could sense the heat and saw the smoke from lava just cooled down, it was like a crust on top of the red-hot lava.
I saw this creature flying up and down as if it was looking for something. He did not have wings but still could fly.
The next vision a couple of days later I saw the same creature but this time he had a thing in its claws or hands. It looked like an instrument you use to beat eggs with. It had a handle and then there were wires coming out of it all around to the bottom and back into the handle.
The next Dream!
I saw a table in a sort of room or place also on melted black lava with steam and silver smoke coming out of the ground.
On the table there were a lot of cages, staged in rows of three, but these ones were opened up and it looked like bird cages.
When the creature took one of them off the table you could see the dust on the table, and I know that these cages stood there for a very long time, by the ring of dust lying where the cage had stood.
Strangely, it was clean under them. I saw that in places there were only a few cages on the table and at other places almost all the cages were there.
When the creature picks up a cage it opens up into the instrument that looks like an egg-beater.
He took one of them and then he flew away with the cage, but this time he flew over almost the same terrain but there were a lot of volcanic mountains.
The Third Vision!
I saw a third vision of the same creature flying away to an unknown place and I was wondering why I keep on seeing this creature.
Then I saw him coming from afar and he came nearer until he flew past me. In the cage like devise he had in his claws trailing behind him I saw a woman and immediately I recognised her.
I saw her long blond hair waving in the wind through the bars of her cage. She looked so beautiful, calm and peaceful and it took me by surprise. She did not know or see the danger she was in.
The creature flew away in the distance and the vision was over. I knew that he had encaged her and was delivering her to the gates of hell.
I was stunned and also heartbroken by what I had seen and I did not know what to do about the vision. I was wary to go to my pastor because it was his wife I had seen and I couldn’t talk to anybody else because I was afraid that they wouldn’t believe me.
Everything seemed so perfect in there marriage and they were the perfect example of married life.
Shortly afterwards, we heard that Pastor was getting a divorce because his wife was in a relationship with another man and she did not want to go on serving the Lord or her husband.
I immediately knew then that the Lord had shown me what was happening in the spiritual world before it happened in the physical. Satan had imprisoned her by her actions of adultery and the vision showed me the spiritual side.
I then went to the pastor and told him the vision and he understood it immediately. We started to pray and to break the power of the evil one. I knew that if I had gone to him earlier, we could have saved his marriage but I was still a very immature Christian at that stage, not understanding spiritual things.
If I had recognised and understood the meaning and importance of that vision, I could have acted earlier and with more zeal! Learn out of my mistake that if the Holy Spirit gives you a vision or dream, ask God to give you the wisdom to act on it, to rebuke the evil one and in doing so glorify God.
When we have everything we are not satisfied then we want better, like the story in the garden of Eden. This poem is what happened in the garden.
In a cage!
.
In a cage
Running in the wild
Jumping and playing
So free
.
Energy seems unused
Nothing to bind
Nor any care
Eating from the tree
.
Drinking from the Crystal Creek
Playing with the lamb
Stroking the lion
Perfect is my world
.
Totally free
Softly the breeze
Familiar is its tease
Softly He speaks
.
Satisfied to His ease
Friend familiar
Satisfied and full
Usual day, beauty and rest
.
Fluttering of the birds
Peacefulness, even alert
Creation moans
Utter destruction
.
Death has appeared
Disturbance unknown
Peace so treasured now fled
Touch not, defiled
.
Surely death doth us part
The lie deceived us to death
Softly the breeze
Terrified we freeze
.
Naked we are
Ashamed we flee
Leaves to hide
Sin to be our pain
.
Separation so cold
Unable to hear
Reaching, crying
Hopeless, even dying
.
Father, save me
I am in a cage
My child, the blood
It’s for you
.
A covenant to restore
Your inheritance
and more
.
Jesus’ love, mercy, grace
To see your face
We wait, we look
We hope, forever
