In the darkest hours of life
In the darkest hours of journey
As the life's journey of ambiguity continues,
The darkest hours crop up,
Without your volition and expectation,
Sooner or later at intervals – unspecified.
Is overshadowing fear inevitable at such terrific hours?
Feet are unable to resist stumbling,
Heart does refuse to beat soundless,
And thoughts of failures hover wild -- oftentimes.
Will this momentous period pass over soon?
Whether you like it or not this part of the journey is so real.
Neither the known nor the unknown accompanies,
And Suddenly you discover -- you're alone.
Is this the hour for the survival of the fittest?
Sunshine is beyond the horizon of hope,
Path to deliverance from this darkness still unveiled,
And Length of this moment is unknown -- indiscoverable.
Does any crowd follow you at this juncture?
No voice is heard to sooth you,
None other than the Creator accompanies you,
And He alone is your hope in the darkest hours -- for sure.
