"Inside Out"
Can you see behind that pretty face?
Behind the make-up and deceit,
a mouth full of lies,
that only seem to repeat.
Her lips are poison,
leaving stains upon your skin.
She whispers words of false promise,
dragging you in.
A body made of plastic,
A personality so fake.
How can you fall for such a monster?
Your heart she will now take.
Just look into her eyes.
Believe me, there's nothing there.
Her heart too cold,
for her to ever care.
Can you look beyond her beauty?
She's only pretty on the outside.
Take a look a little deeper,
You'll see she's ugly on the inside.

This is a great poem, Nikki. Yes the feelings on the inside and what is inside the person's heart are the real person. Everyone has a truth that is undeniable that cannot be hid. Beauty is really the truth we find when we look beyond the superficial. :)

I love this piece ...you are so mad at her that's okay ..you have to pour it then you will feel relieve then..it's just fair that happens also to us women..men full of deceits also..

thanks elizabeth. yea too many look at quantity rather than quality, they look at materialistic things rather than meaningful things, whats on the outside, rather than on the inside, and the world today portray beautiful as just those things, make up and thin body and fake big boobs. i believe everyone is beautiful in their own way, and u dont have to be a certain look to be beautiful, beautiful is in the eye of the beholder. and we shouldnt care so much what other people think, our opinions of ourselves matter first.
Thats basically how I feel about half the girls that are in my high school... all size zero's, designer cloths, so much makeup you can't tell what color their eyes are, and a new boyfriend every week. None of them have matured past freshman year. Anyway!!!!Awesome poem and very well written!! :)

be as passionate as u like. yea im not too fond of most men myself. my bf is a lot like a gurl lol i swear. and i have been hurt by a lot of guys that werent quite so genious like in this area, and full of lies, but it was my fault for tryin to make it work and stay with them. love makes u do all kinds of crazy things.
Oh, I see what you meant.
But you see, not being faithful is not being an idiot in that moment, it is something that you truly know what you're doing, and that's, quite literally, destroying your mate, and I could never, ever do that, ever, and just as powerfully, I feel angry, no enraged, for anyone that that has ever happened to.
Excuse my passion here, but I'm not a fan of men in general, they're being competitive, self-indulgent, abusive, and ultimately, they have run this world into the ground. I have experienced so much of their abandonment myself, in many ways, both personally and societally.
Obviously, not all women are perfect either, but they are inherently more empathetic, and have, a few special ones, most especially my wife, literally saved my life...

not always always just when it comes to situations such as these. its ok to be silly and dumb occasionally. just dont be dumb when it comes to being faithful. and have some common sense. my bf like...has none lol. hhm i think i read that in ur bio or something maybe it was the first comment u sent me idk but if you figure that problem out go for it. its really more like third world hunger cuz we are just fine food wise...for now. africa needs a mcdonalds.
Hmm, always be a genius. That's a tall order even for us aliens...but since you have faith in me, then what the hell, I'll make it so. I planned on solving world hunger too, seriously...no really! :)

Ah, the seductress. We men can be so vulnerable. I consider myself fortunate I have not met such a woman, but I well know I can be both an idiot and a genius. The question is when will each occur...
