Into The Dungeon

Updated on June 5, 2017

Into the dungeon upon a rope
Not too dark and not at all scary
Past the crooks that would your gold steal

Slowly, stealthily you descend
The red door is your goal
But there be one or two or maybe more

To find the one that which the key
Break the vial upon the door
Advance by jumping stairs of two
but there be four and a score

Grab the rope and swing away
There to find the keeper of the star.
Advance to door of eight
Your level best

The test you see is your
Ability to see
Do not to them betray
A knightly subject of Royal blood

The Steward and keeper of
the Galaxy

For my Grandson who dreams as a Child and imagines with the spirit of his Grandmother
