Into The Void I March
Into the void I march
Chasing the ever elusive rabbit of individuality
Trying to break free of that which binds not only my thoughts but my mind
Frantically searching for the mirror that reveals what is feared by most
Into the mirror I gaze
The clothed onion starts to peel
Who I am is exposed in the reflection
I take confidence in what I see
Into the world I head
Preparing for immortality
Not of salvation, but of creation
The world will know my perspective as unique
Into the middle I scream
The distance overwhelms me
The two distant walls never communicate
Each are confused about what I see
Into the madness I collapse
The worst fate for an artist
To have your perspective not understood
The reflection disappears
