Be Love Only

Love ! you slither into our life !

Without feet, you move so swift,

Without eyes, you see all sharp,

Without heart, you beat too fast,

Lacking arms, you grasp hard,

Do you need a brain to think ?

Senses are stunned to feel you,

Still you turn surfeit of all luster.

Where do you live, tell me ?

I want to meet and talk to you,

And touch with my own hands,

How do you enter in our hearts ?

And settle silent in our eyes,

Spread a subtle magic in the air,

And give tugs supple and firm,

Are you a guest or an intruder ?

Rainbow so awesome in the sky !

But you are not that rainbow,

Heaven is fragrance of flowers !

But you are not even the heaven,

Songs of birds cheer my heart,

You can't be birds and my heart,

Hilly roads snake into my soul,

You are not my soul nor the hills.

Hugs and embrace all I cherish,

Neither hugs nor embrace you are,

Dreams in sleep enchant me much,

You can't be those dreams too,

Rivers, springs and running waves,

I want to gaze them till eternity,

A serene breeze that touches soft,

It can't be you, and nor the touch.

Can you be a mere name ?

can you be a mere word ?

Can the mind be your bough ?

Can you touch when you arrive ?

I wonder you are not even light !

For nobody can't even see you !

I have to put aside everything,

You are love and be love only !
