It PAYS to be Obedient
It pays to listen never mind
your age or size. It pays to
listen to a wise voice all the time.
It pays to put down your stubborn
ways. It pays to consider a sound
advice even if at that time it doesn’t
sound too nice. It pays to obey and do
what’s right.
Now I sit and wonder had I done
this instead of that all now
I wouldn’t feel like such
a brat. It pays to listen and it hurts
deeply when you do not.
Disobedience has so many regrets
only thing you can do then is be
sorry and sorry seems to be always late.
When all the hopes you had
Just shatters before you.
Your self will did not bring
you joy. Now it makes you
feel so rotten and bad. It pays to
listen it pays to do what’s right……….
