Thk You Daniel. The song is gorgeous!

4/7/2013

Better a foolish girl than a woman with no stories to tell

I dive into deep waters
I jump in feet first
I immerse myself completely
Knowing that I can barely swim
And that water makes me panic
And that one day I won't win
It is in my nature
Simply because it is worth doing
And in the experience hides the meaning of life

I will go as high as I can
Up a steep mountain
In order to see the sights
And have the experiences
Knowing that I can not stay
And the road back down is trecherous
My legs may fail me
I will fall and be cut
I may bleed out
But what is there to fear
Time passes
Wounds Heal
And death comes
It is in my nature
But in the experience hides the meaning of life

You are an experience
That I choose to have
You are a passionate story
That I chose to live out
And tho I know that beginnings
Are always more fun than endings
and there is always sadness and bittersweetness
This is something that I have to do
It is a Journey that I have to take
Even if there is a chance
That I will suffer the price that must me paid
Even tho I am, at times, afraid
I believe that the experience is always worth it
And in it hides the meaning of life

This is my Nature.

This is wonderful poem, so nicely expressed!

You are so effortless in weaving the words into a fine poem. I loved the pictures and the song as well.

Thanks and voted up as beautiful!

That is awesome Xstatic. Thank you for coming back to see me. I actually spent this saturday living the first part of this poem. It lends itself well to more than one experience for me.

This relates well to a conversation that my wife and I had tonight. It was very interesting and your poem is as well.

      Hi MomsThe Word:

Loved the poem and and embraces

Nature and nurture is a worldly charm

And Darwin made survival of the species

The centre of his worldly drama

And you I see are testing it

      Survival is on the table

      Where dice are dominate

And mice and men are but

      Prominent

      Only if they can swim

nature that you represent here is almost like life.. violent by nature such as life... death can be violent, birth can be violent and living day to day can be violent.. but we move on.. we create experiences as we leave tracks.. yeah this was very well done Moms...:)
