Journey of a Bird to His Home
Dark Clouds hover Around
The Sky I once Knew
Night is round the corner
It’s time for home I flew.
The Wind has stopped completely
As if to make way
For a Storm
My heart Crouches in Fear
Knowing not where
It would be From.
Still I Flapped My Wings
Setting Sail
All Alone
In hope of Reaching before
The Storm gets me
Back to home.
While in mid-sky
The lightning picked up
Blinding my Vision
Taking me to another way
Now Known to my reason.
Suddenly, I could see
The Storm approaching me
With all its Might
Fangs Bared in Sight
Cruel as Ever
To Consume
My Dainty yet Feisty Soul
Forever!
I closed my eyes
Giving in to my fate
Of Ultimate Suffering
And Endless Unrest!
But then Somebody
Picked me up
From Nowhere
And Whisked me away
Past all Storms
Past all cloudy ways
To Skies Somewhere.
As I opened my eyes
I could see the Gates of Heaven
Before me
Serene with Grace
Like the doors that lead
To the endless blue sky
Where I could Fly and Fly
For Eternity Given!
As I flew through the Gates
I reached my true home
Leaving behind
A Sea of dark clouds and Storms
That neither can get me Again
Nor would where I ever roam.
